You'll love our fresh-baked goodies! The Bakery at Community Mercantile uses only organic grains and the finest ingredients to create our luscious cheesecakes, tender scones and melt-in-your-mouth cookies. Try the Preachers' Cake (it's chocolate decadence!), or the vegan Carrot Cake (moist and wonderful!). Our selection changes with the season, but you'll always find a delicious treat waiting for you in our bakery.

- From the simplest Oatmeal Raisin Cookie to a melt-in-your-mouth Pecan Sandie sure to delight. Priced by the each at 99¢ for our traditional cookies and by the pound for the Chef's specialty cookies. Come on in and we'll share some with you.
- Specialty Cakes, Tarts, Little Pies, Candies Seasonal Fruit Tarts and Pies, Truffles and Homemade Candies, Brownies, Tortes, and of course, our Signature Sweets: Preacher's Chocolate Cake; Caramel Glazed Apple and Oatmeal Torte; Creamy Philadelphia Cheesecake; and Life Saving Carrot Cake. In the fall, local Fieldstone Farm Apples are baked into fragrant little Pies, Strudels and Galettes.
- Birthday and Wedding Cakes are as beautiful as they are delicious. We use imported chocolate, local fruits, and Heartland Mills flours. Priced individually, please inquire.
- Special Occasion Cakes
- Our Pastry Chef's talent and love of her art combined with highest quality European Chocolate, creamery butter, local, fresh eggs and organic cream and milk combine to make our Cakes and Tortes a feast for both the eye and the palate.
