Kids Summer Cooking

Two sessions for chefs of different ages:
Ages 8-11, 1pm-2:30pm
Ages 12 and up, 3:30pm-5pm
taught by Chef Hilary Kass, Nutrition Educator
Here is a fun, totally hands-on cooking opportunity for kids who love to be
in the kitchen. We'll bring all the ingredients for you to make a healthy
meal for a family of four. You'll make a yummy Mexican Tortilla Casserole,
Lovely Layered Salad in a Jar, and Super Chunky Peanut Butter Balls for
dessert. When you get home all you'll need to do is bake your casserole.
Won't your family enjoy a summer meal prepared by you? Each child will need
to bring an apron, cutting board, kitchen knife and a 9"X9" baking pan-we'll
provide the rest.
$18 per child / $15 per Merc member child
